Big Sky

For those who like their space, Big Sky is the place. While other resorts can match Big Sky's 400 inches of average snowfall each season, and 85 miles of named runs, few can offer their seemingly endless elbow room. If enjoying untracked powder runs all to your lonesome, or perhaps sharing the wide-open experience with a friend or two, consider Big Sky for your next vacation.

As their name implies, they're Big! Three mountains, a summit topping out at 11,150-ft, an aerial tramway to get you up top in three minutes; 4,350 vertical feet to enjoy on the way down; a gondola, three high speed quads and eight other chairlifts means virtually no waiting in lift lines. After all, you're here to ski and ride not stand around waiting for uphill rides.

After a day on the slopes, there's the convenience and nightlife of the Mountain Village to enjoy. It's a self-contained destination resort with over 1,000 lodging units, restaurants, outdoor heated pools, hot tubs, child care service and even legal, poker games, if you're so inclined.

During late spring through autumn, golfers enjoy the Big Sky Golf Course with its Meadow Village accommodations; hikers and cyclists enjoy the mountains--perhapstaking the gondola up, or earning their verts the traditional way-- while fly fishing enthusiasts and rafters take to the pristine rivers and streams. Tennis players have six courts to choose from at the Huntley Lodge (named for the late NBC newsman, Chet Huntley who founded the resort in 1973) and The Big Sky Tennis Club. And of course, since it's Montana, guided horseback rides are a major attraction.

Getting to Big Sky is easy. Three major airlines fly into the Bozeman Airport where rental cars and shuttles services are available for the 50 mile highway drive to the resort. So, what are you waiting for? Check out the coupons we've gathered here to save you money on your next trip to Big Sky, Montana!
